Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using the IEP Champion mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. License

Angel Reyes Consulting LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own family's IEP-management purposes, subject to these Terms.

3. Permitted use

  • Personal, non-commercial use by parents, guardians, and adult family members.
  • Use on behalf of one or more students for whom you are a parent or legal guardian.
  • Export, share, or print the records you create from within the App.

4. Prohibited use

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code from the App.
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or commercial redistribution of the App.
  • Using the App for unlawful purposes or in violation of school-district policies.
  • Storing data about students for whom you have no parental or legal-guardian relationship.

5. The AI assistant is not professional advice

The AI assistant inside the App is an informational tool. It is not a substitute for legal, medical, educational, or special-education professional advice. See the AI Disclaimer for details about how to use the assistant safely.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PUBLISHER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE PUBLISHER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PUBLISHER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. THE PUBLISHER'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE YOU PAID FOR THE APP.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Angel Reyes Consulting LLC from any claim arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

9. Refunds

Refunds are processed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) under their respective policies. The publisher does not directly process refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases.

10. Dispute resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted in the user's state of residence (or another mutually agreed forum). Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court instead, where eligible. Class-action and class-arbitration claims are waived to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the user's state of residence (without regard to conflict-of-law principles), except where federal law preempts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced via the App's release notes. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
